These documents provide specific product quality and testing standards that suppliers must ensure they meet. Products failing to meet these standards will not be accepted by Freedom. There are QSD’s for both Furniture and Homewares.

Mandatory Product Safety
This is a summary of the current mandatory product safety standards in Australia. Any product with a mandatory safety standard must meet them. It is against Australian Law to supply products that do not meet these standards. Products failing to meet these standards will not be accepted by Freedom.

Freedom Legal Timber Purchasing Policy
With the introduction of the Australian Illegal Logging Prohibition Act 2012, suppliers of timber, timber veneer and derivatives such as ply, particleboard and MDF must comply completely with this policy.
Failure to comply with this policy and law will result in Freedom ceasing to purchase the product immediately.
